As someone whose most prominent spiritual gift is “encouragement”, I am always looking out for books that would help other people.  Whether it is another woman in my monthly Bible study group or widows in my church who are lonely, encouragers like me are eager to help.  Until now, I would have a hard time finding a Christian book store online that provided ideas.  Most of the bargain outlets just assumed you already knew the title and author of the book. 

If God has placed people in your life that need encouragement, and you consider yourself their “encourager”, then you may just need to be there for them in person, or as a shoulder to cry on.  If you can’t always be there in person, sometimes the best way to help is by sending scripture via email or text. My personal favorite way to encourage the ladies in my Bible study is to send them a thoughtful card to let them know I’m praying, but I will often try to find them a small book to go with it.  Many Christian book stores that you find online won’t sell those smaller books of encouragement because they have to be ordered directly from the publisher.    Well, in this case, the bookstore I found is the publisher.
